Persisting in Giving Love and Practicing the Dharma

談震色變誠膚慰
菩提林立同根生

the Four Great Vows:Living beings are incalculable,we vow to deliver them all;afflictions are infinite,we vow to eliminate them all;ways of practicing the Dharma are innumerable,we vow to learn them all;Buddhahood is supreme, we vow to attain it.

This requires us to be sincere,upright, honest, and have faith.These four vows are also the fundamental vows of all Tzu Chi volunteers.

All the disciples of the Jing Si Dharma Lineage need to develop a heart of sincerity,uprightness, faith, and honesty and to act out the spirit of loving-kindness,compassion, joy, and equanimity.

Moreover, to give with great loving-kindness is to have no regret. We have to be firm in our aspiration and give of ourselves to create blessings for the world as well as inspire others to create blessings.In doing so, we harbor no regret.

In serving people, we seek nothing in return and never have regrets. To save living beings in suffering,out of great compassion, we readily give of ourselves to help them.

We are all learning to be a bodhisattva who practices six paramitas in whatever we do.Because there arecountless sufferings in the world,we have to give of ourselves with wisdom and compassion
without asking anything in return.

This cannot be achieved by a few people. It requires a lot of people. Therefore, we have to work together with a clear focus on the mission.

Develop a forest of bodhi trees from the same root of wisdom. Work together harmoniously to cultivate a field of blessing. Plant the root of wisdom deeply on the Bodhisattva Path.

Yes, let us start doing this now. By spreading our root of wisdom far and deep,the bodhi trees within us can grow very firm and develop into a forest of bodhi trees from the same root of wisdom.

To protect the Earth,we need to have forests. Likewise, just one person doing good and being awakened is not enough. being awakened is not enough. The world needs many kindhearted people to be awakened.

Therefore, we need a forest of bodhi trees from the same root of wisdom.Everyone, having the power of love is very important. Those who are certified today just embarked on the Bodhisattva Path today. just embarked on the Bodhisattva Path today. Those who are very experienced have to be firm in your faith and aspiration and never let them waver.

We also have to pass on the Jing Si Dharma Lineage to future generations. This is the vow shared by us all.
